Love our garden small but interesting with our top room we call it, the study, and the flowers blooming each year.

FINCA IN MALLORCA
James and his wife Paula run this lovely finca hotel. I can say it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in in a hot country... Spain, Italy etc.
So secluded and private and the food out of this world, we had a great time and were so relaxed.
Our bedroom was off the rooftop restaurant, we all ate at the same time and had the same food, menu put on the board daily. Brilliant stuff.
There was an 'honesty' freezer full of ice creams, say no more.
OUR NEW BABY GREAT GRANDDAUTHER MARLIE WITH GABY
Pretty baby just like her Mum Cristina. Gaby looks a natural here.
As yet to cuddle her, must entice them up to Hampshire.

PARIS FOR BRIAN'S BIRTHDAY TREAT FROM ME XXX
Eating Mussels, love them in our fav restaurant near the hotel, great place.
Second hand book shop by the Seine, always finding books there.
Romantic one I took on the way home.
Outside our best eaterie in Paris, great.
Our waiter, he knows us now. Been there three years running, always in August, super.
80th BIRTHDAY IN SOMERSET
Most of the family, in fact nearly all, met up with Simon and Carmen at their house, we had one of their cottages, Damien and Becky took the caravan, and we had a lovely cottage down the lane for everybody else.
We had a bbq at the local pub, as it was raining in the skittle alley, back to the cottage for a cream tea laid on by Carmen and Louise and then in the evening back to the pub.
Next day there was a paella for lunch cooked by Maria and Carmen and lovely it was too.
Bernard and Doreen came with Jenny and Ian but didn't stay all day but it was lovely seeing them.

On Hols in USA
Brian is pulling a weird face in Times Square, I think someone has done something and he doesn't know what to do, could be Simpson! Warm night here, too warm for me and it is only May,
This picture I took from our room, really good view, we had to upgrade our room to get it, why come here and stay at the back with no view? It is lovely, really awesome.
Central Park here and very quiet, but so big, thought it was smaller haven't enough time to look around it much, next time.

TWO NIGHTS IN WINCHESTER
Spent two nights in Winchester, love the place. Visited the Christmas market and went shopping too. Stayed in The Wessex Hotel where we used to go in the 70's and meet our friends Carrie and Teg (now passed away - both of them) - the place holds many lovely memories for us.
Made the most of the hotel and had breakfast in the room, so cosy with a view of the cathedral.
Gaby and Matt came to see us and Lynda and Ben came to, had a meal - super two days went too fast.

Ebba visits with friends
STUFF HAPPENS
Sorry to have left you briefly but I have been concentrating on my other blog about AD and need to get this somewhat up to date.
We have been out and about, here and there and Christmas is coming and again going away. With Doreen and Bernard to a mystery break for four nights over Christmas...
HERE we are at an weekend break at Warbrook House, Eversley with Joanne. There is a murder mystery going on but I was not with it, had some kind of illness and could hardly eat, even though I look OK in the photo. Jo and Brian loved it and we shall go back again to finish
it off, sort of thing.

Gabriella and Isabella
Taken on our cottage doorstep in June. Gabriella is Lynda's daughter she is 18 and just started at Winchester Uni.
Photo taken by Damien of Isabella and Tabitha. Also Matt our grandson (Jo Ann's son) and Freddie 4 - Hayley's youngest.
This must have been taken a couple of years ago as Tabitha looks so small. In Lynda's kitchen with Ebba on the left (John's daughter) Gabriella, Lynda, Becky and Fia (John's wife) with Isabella and Tabitha at Christmas.
Freddie at ours doing his cooking, he loves playing with pastry and makes rather nice jam tarts.
